"Let me introduce you to Marta.
She is the leader of the women's group at our sister church in Consolacion
del Sur in Pinar del Rio area. She travels on her bicycle around the area
leading bible studies and prayer groups for the women in their homes. She also shares God's love in a practical way
by helping women with sewing and mending. This is a very poor area and these women can not just go out and buy new
clothes.
Marta
is God's servant in this small Cuban community and the women of Plantation United Methodist church have committed to supporting
her in this ministry. We hope you take time to pray for Marta and the women she leads."
